Solução de problemas
Troubleshooting
The most common problems (missing payment button, read-only mode, iCal, emails, cron, updates) and how to solve them.
This article gathers the most common situations, with the steps to follow for each one. If your problem is not listed, the last section explains how to contact support.
The payment button does not appear
The form shows the dates and the price, but no online payment is offered.
- Open Kraft Booking › Kraft GDA and look at the Online payments card.
- To activate: click Activate payments and complete the Stripe form.
- Verification in progress or Action required: Stripe is waiting for information. Click Resume activation or Complete my file and provide the requested documents.
- Payments active but no payment offered: check the payment setting of the booking module or block (Divi: "Payment mode" › "Stripe online payment"; Gutenberg and Elementor: "Payment" › "Online payment (Stripe / Kraft Pay)"), then that the site is not in read-only mode.
Details in Enable Stripe payments.
The site is in read-only mode
A banner says "Site disconnected from Kraft — read-only" (or "Resyncing with Kraft — read-only") and new bookings are suspended.
- Read the banner's explanation; if the site is still linked, the technical detail is in Kraft Booking › Kraft GDA, Technical diagnostics panel ("Last error" row).
- Click Resync now if the banner offers it, otherwise Reconnect, then authorize the site again from your owner account ("Authorize and return to WordPress").
- Site served from a different domain: you are probably on a staging copy, which is normal. See Read-only mode and reconnection.
- Access revoked by the GDA team: contact support.
No data is lost in read-only mode.
The iCal calendar does not update
- In Kraft Booking › Planning & rates, Syncs tab, look at the "Last status" column of each feed (last sync date and any error message); the History & alerts table details every run.
- Click Sync on the feed's row. If the import succeeds but the automatic runs then stop, the problem lies with the scheduled task: see "Cron is not running".
- If the import fails, the feed URL may have changed: retrieve it again from the platform. A feed that fails or has not synced for 3 hours also triggers a warning in the admin and an email (Settings › "iCal sync alerts").
- In the other direction, the platforms re-read your export at their own pace, sometimes several hours. Check that the URL pasted into the platform is the current "Outgoing feed" link.
See iCal sync with Airbnb and Booking.com.
Emails are not received
- Send yourself a test email from Kraft Booking › Settings › "Email design and content" (Save and send me a test button).
- If it does not arrive, your hosting is probably not sending WordPress emails correctly: install an SMTP plugin and configure it with the credentials of your business mailbox.
- If it lands in spam, set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your domain (your host provides the instructions) and send from an address on your own domain.
- Check the address that receives new bookings in Settings › "General settings" › "Email that receives bookings". The sender address is WordPress's, or the one set in your SMTP plugin.
- Kraft Booking does not keep a log of sent emails: if needed, use your SMTP plugin's log.
Cron is not running
Symptoms: late reminders, balances not charged on the scheduled date, frozen iCal, write authorization expiring.
Kraft Booking relies on the WordPress scheduled task (WP-Cron), which only runs when a visitor loads a page. On a low-traffic site, tasks fall behind.
- Kraft Booking has no dedicated scheduled-tasks screen: check that the History & alerts table in Kraft Booking › Planning & rates › Syncs shows a run every 15 minutes, and look at the "Last heartbeat" row of the Technical diagnostics panel (Kraft Booking › Kraft GDA).
- Create a real cron job with your host, every 5 to 15 minutes, that calls
https://your-site.com/wp-cron.php(the "Cron jobs" section of most hosting control panels). - Then add the following line to
wp-config.phpto avoid duplicate runs:
define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true);
- After an hour, check that the sync history shows recent runs.
An update failed
- Reload the admin and read the WordPress error message: a package whose fingerprint or signature does not match is refused before anything is installed.
- If the problem persists after an update, open Kraft Booking › Kraft GDA, Kraft updates card, and click Revert to version … (the previous version, kept before the update).
- If the admin is inaccessible, temporarily rename the plugin folder using your host's file manager, then contact support.
Your data is never affected. See Signed updates and rollback.
Contact support
Before writing, gather the following; it speeds up the diagnosis:
- your site's address and the Kraft Booking version (Kraft Booking › Kraft GDA, "Kraft updates" card: "Installed version");
- a screenshot of the error message or banner;
- the content of the Technical diagnostics panel (Kraft Booking › Kraft GDA), which contains no guest data;
- the steps to reproduce the problem.
Then:
- from your Kraft GDA customer area, click the Help bubble to ask the assistant or choose Talk to a human (a ticket is created and the answer arrives by email); in the plugin, every screen offers the "Need help with this screen?" box;
- from the platform, use the contact page: /contact.
Support will never ask you for your WordPress password or your Stripe credentials.
